working as a traffic control and court officer for the Saratoga Springs Police
Department. In June of 2000, I accepted a full time position at the Glens Falls
Police Department, then transferred to Corinth Police Department in January
of 2003 to be closer to home. In May of 2007, I was wrongfully terminated for
taking a statement from a witness and victim regarding an investigation of then
local business owner, Trevor Downie, for molesting minor female employees at
his restaurant. Trevor Downie was financially affiliated with the Mayor of
Corinth, Brad Winslow, through real estate transactions through Winslow
Realty. Then Corinth Police Chief Robert E. Kane (now a Saratoga County
Sheriff Deputy), informed me that "we can't take these people on" refusing to
investigate these serious allegations of molestation leaving me to fulfill my
duties as a police officer. Downie continued to molest additional minor
females until he committed suicide. I will be laying out all the detailed
